UAT Officer

Overview:

Are you ready to kickstart your career in the dynamic world of user testing? Join our innovative team as an UAT Officer, where you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards and user expectations. In this entry-level position, you’ll work closely with seasoned professionals, gaining hands-on experience in Acceptance Testing for our comprehensive Funding and Disclosure Reform Program. Your contributions will directly impact the development and implementation of ICT solutions, ensuring they align with critical business requirements and deliver exceptional value.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Test Manager and testing team with the creation of Acceptance Testing plans and monitor test execution activities.
• Act as the primary point of contact for FAD/AEC business teams regarding Acceptance Testing preparation and execution.
• Coordinate test execution and defect triage activities while collaborating with program stakeholders on resolving defects.
• Prepare and contribute to Agile delivery standups and other team ceremonies, ensuring seamless communication across departments.

Required Skills:

Minimum baseline clearance is required

• One or more years of experience in a large, complex digital transformation project, ideally in a government or large commercial context.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical language.
• Proven ability to manage multiple project priorities while building constructive working relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Office applications and familiarity with project management tools such as Azure DevOps or MTM.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience in a client-facing role such as business analyst, project administrator, training coordinator, or communications specialist.
• Basic knowledge of Agile methodologies and testing principles.
• Understanding of ICT solutions and their impact on business processes.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• A degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Previous involvement in user testing or quality assurance within digital projects would be advantageous.

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to work in a hybrid setting, with a maximum of 40 hours per week.
