Overview

Our large commercial client is seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Business Analyst to join their dynamic team, on an initial 6-month contract basis with view for extension. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services and investment, with a proven track record in senior stakeholder management, and experience in adapting to new legislative changes. The successful candidate will be instrumental in gathering functional requirements and driving key projects forward in a high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess and implement changes required due to new legislation, ensuring compliance and strategic alignment.
• Engage with senior stakeholders to understand their needs and manage expectations effectively.
• Utilize project management tools to oversee and drive projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
• Gather, document, and validate functional requirements for various business initiatives.
• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and take charge of implementing solutions.
• Work under high-pressure conditions, balancing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout project lifecycles.

Skills

• Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on financial services and investment.
• Strong expertise in senior stakeholder management and the ability to navigate complex organizational structures.
• Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to gather, analyze, and document functional requirements with precision.
• Proactive attitude with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Experience in high-pressure environments, demonstrating resilience and adaptability.
• Experience working within financial advisory organizations is a bonus.
