About the role

Shape the future of AI across a large public sector environment. This role sits at the heart of AI opportunity, acting as the key link between business teams, technical delivery and governance.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with business leaders to uncover AI opportunities and strategic priorities.
• Shape AI use cases, value propositions, benefits and early business cases.
• Prioritise the AI pipeline and track risks, dependencies, benefits and delivery progress.
• Guide initiatives through governance, FAIRA, security, privacy, architecture and assurance pathways.
• Report portfolio insights, trends and business value to senior leaders and governance forums.

Highly desirable criteria

• Proven business relationship or advisory experience across complex organisations.
• Strong portfolio, pipeline or demand management experience.
• Demonstrated AI, digital transformation or innovation experience.
• Confident stakeholder facilitation with senior leaders and executive forums.
• Solid understanding of AI opportunity assessment, governance and adoption.

Desirable criteria

• Experience with FAIRA or similar AI risk and assurance processes.
• Exposure to business case, benefits and investment planning.
• Knowledge of AI strategy, adoption or emerging AI capabilities.
• Background in public sector or large enterprise environments.
