Overview

Our large commercial client is looking to engage an aPay Specialist on a 6-month contract with view for potential extension. As the aPay Specialist, you will be the Subject Matter Expert on the ITS Business Engagement Team, supporting the day-to-day operation of Ascender/aPay, working in a dynamic environment across the Payroll and HR solutions and business processes. The support will extend to the integration with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive support for Ascender / aPay modules, including customisations, WSS and Extend.
• Demonstrate expertise in managing user requests through the Service Desk, including effective triaging, while ensuring the maintainability of the core product.
• Take responsibility for issue resolution, actively participating in testing any changes initiated by the Vendor Partner.
• Offer support for seamless integration with various solutions, including SuccessFactors Employee Central and associated modules, LMS and APIs.
• Engage with stakeholders across multiple business areas and Vendor partners to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
• Provide analysis and management of enhancement requests, Saas releases and minor upgrades.

Skills

• Knowledge and experience with APay (Ascender) is essential.
• Deep knowledge of HR and Payroll systems and experience working with business processes and solutions.
• Intermediate to advanced expertise reporting and writing complex SQL queries is essential.
• Understanding database design and system configuration.
• Hold a valid or willing to obtain a Working With Children Check (Blue Card) at own expense.
