Overview

Our client is looking for a dynamic and driven Business Analyst to join their Brisbane Head Office team. This role is centered on a significant claims transformation project, focusing on process improvement, re-engineering, and solution building. You’ll collaborate with key stakeholders across the business to drive impactful changes. 

Responsibilities

• Build and manage strong relationships with business stakeholders
• Gather requirements and facilitate solutions through effective communication
• Analyze problems, set priorities, and deliver actionable solutions
• Evaluate incoming enhancements for feasibility and urgency
• Design, specify, and implement tasks to achieve desired outcomes
• Maintain high-standard business requirement documentation
• Collaborate with application developers to ensure customer needs are fully met

Skills

• A tertiary qualification in IT (highly desirable)
• A strong ability to assimilate and apply new concepts quickly
• Experience in User Acceptance Testing
• Experience in Claims environment would be highly desirable 
• Experience with Process Improvement, Process Re-engineering, Process Modelling and Building solutions 
• Proficiency in working within an Agile environment
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A strong customer focus and commitment to service excellence
• A collaborative work style and team focus
• An innovative mindset, with a drive to think beyond the role’s current scope
