About the role

You will be an experienced IT Business Analyst with a solid understanding of Document Management Systems (DMS), particularly Microsoft SharePoint Online.  The role is to undertake the identification, analysis and documentation of current state and future state business processes and requirements necessary to support the DMS project.  In particular, the role will involve collaborating with stakeholders to elicit requirements around document management to ensure a DMS is implemented that meets expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Assess current authentication, macro usage, encryption, and privileged access workflows for efficiency and security uplift opportunities. 
• Gather and define business requirements for data protection, recovery benchmarks (RPO/RTO), and compliance needs. 
• Gather, catalogue and define business requirements the use of Office macros, and lifecycle mapping of sensitive data. 
• Lead workshops and stakeholder engagement to gather data classification needs, business ownership details, and access control boundaries. 
• Support evaluation and adoption of technical tools (e.g., Purview Information Protection) for data classification and encryption. 

Highly desirable

• Relevant industry experience over 5 years would be highly regarded
• Demonstrated experience in Use Case development
