About the Role

As a Business Systems Analyst, you will engage with stakeholders to understand business pain points and document current processes. You will collaborate closely with Project Managers, Business Application Owners, and IT teams to develop optimized solutions that pave the way for improved efficiency. You will have the opportunity to influence project decisions and contribute to strategic initiatives that transform the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and document the business analysis approach, stakeholder analysis, and communication processes.
• Engage with stakeholders to analyze business and functional requirements and assess business change impacts.
• Manage relationships with external implementation partners to deliver effective solutions.
• Conduct thorough business rules elicitation; document and validate findings.
• Create detailed documentation of current state (As-Is) and future state (To-Be) business processes.
• Maintain and prioritize business requirements and traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop functional specifications for system requirements and interfaces.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager on additional tasks as needed.

Skills and Experience

Essential

• Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst in both public and private sectors.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Expertise in business process modeling and documentation.
• Familiarity with requirements management and traceability practices.

Desirable

• Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
