About the role

This Change Analyst role with a state government client supports the Human Capital Management Solution (HCMS) program. The position will focus on analysing change impacts, identifying risks, developing interventions, and supporting stakeholders through the adoption of a new HCMS system.
 

Key responsibilities

• Conduct change impact analyses and assess readiness across stakeholders
• Support development and execution of change management plans
• Assist in stakeholder communications and engagement activities
• Contribute to training material development and delivery
• Track and report on change management metrics
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate change activities
• Run workshops and focus groups to gather feedback and address resistance
• Maintain project documentation including impact assessments and stakeholder analysis
• Support change champion networks and user adoption strategies
• Coordinate cross-functional activities for consistent change delivery
• Provide logistical support for change events and training
• Apply structured change methodologies and tools
• Maintain knowledge of the HCMS to provide effective end-user support
• Assist post-implementation by addressing inquiries and managing issue resolution

Desirable criteria

• Experience delivering change in ICT-enabled projects
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to simplify complex data
• High-level written and verbal communication skills
• Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration abilities
• Organisational skills to manage multiple priorities in tight timeframes
• Discretion in handling confidential information
• Proficiency with project and collaboration tools
• Experience gathering user feedback and managing objections
• Knowledge of Human Capital Management Systems
• Flexible and adaptable in changing project scopes
• Proficiency with digital analytical tools such as Excel or Access

• Demonstrated application of change management principles and methodologies
