About the role

Our federal government client is seeking a Cloud Engineer. 

Key responsibilities

• Suitable knowledge and experience in Private Cloud technology (VMWare product suite) including automation and workflows.
• Solid technical background in hosted services environments including hardware, software, virtualization, storage, and container orchestration.
• Practical knowledge of Operating Systems – Windows Server 20xx, RHEL 8/9, Ubuntu 20/22 including tools for their administration.
• Working experience with TCP/IP networking (DNS, DHCP, etc).
• Strong knowledge of security as it relates to cloud-based services.
• Certified virtualization accreditation and experience using VMWare.
• Technical ability to resolve complex incidents and problems with experience in networking and security products.
