I’m currently partnering with a well-established organisation that is rolling out a large-scale ERP transformation across multiple environments. This project-first enablement position sitting within the PMO, working day-to-day with Project Managers to drive engagement, adoption, and readiness across the business.

The Opportunity
As the Project Communications Specialist, you’ll support the people-side delivery of a major ERP rollout by:
- Owning the project communications rhythm
- Creating training and enablement materials that actually land with users
- Keeping the project’s SharePoint environment clean, structured, and current
- Supporting the PMO with stakeholder analysis, reporting, and continuous improvement
You’ll work across diverse audiences — from production floor teams through to leadership — ensuring every rollout milestone is supported with the right comms, training, and tools.
What You’ll Be Doing
Project Communications & Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and deliver targeted communication plans aligned to project milestones
- Coordinate content and delivery for the Monthly Project Newsletter
- Conduct stakeholder analysis (groups, impacts, comms needs) to support PMs
- Develop a wide range of project assets including:
- Posters, briefings, awareness packs, videos, emails, surveys, presentations
- Use Canva to create professional, brand-aligned comms materials
- Establish and manage project mailboxes and distribution lists for centralised comms
Training Development & ERP Adoption Enablement
- Design and develop user-focused training materials for multiple audiences
- Deliver training sessions (virtual and in-person) to support adoption
- Build learning tools such as:
- User guides, eLearning modules, in-application guidance, quick reference sheets
- Tailor training to suit operational realities in a processing / manufacturing environment
- Use Articulate (Storyline/Rise) to create engaging learning experiences
SharePoint & Project Information Management
- Own the project SharePoint sites — keeping content accurate, accessible and aligned
- Create structured pages for:
- Communications, training, documentation, status updates, artefacts
- Maintain clean information architecture and intuitive navigation
- Manage permissions and access across stakeholder groups
- Ensure strong document control: versioning, archiving, compliance
Reporting, Metrics & Continuous Improvement
- Work with PMs to define and track adoption and engagement metrics
- Collect and analyse user feedback to improve readiness and training effectiveness
- Contribute to lessons learned and recommend improvements to PMO processes
- Use insights to refine comms, training, and SharePoint content continuously
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years’ experience in project communications, enablement, training design, or ERP/system implementation support
- Strong experience working within a PMO or project delivery environment
- Proven ability to develop high-quality training and comms assets for varied audiences
- Strong capability with:
- SharePoint (pages, structure, permissions, version control)
- Canva (branded comms assets)
- Articulate Storyline/Rise (eLearning development)
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills (written + verbal)
- ERP experience (SAP / Oracle / Dynamics 365 or similar)
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial, food processing or operational environments
- Project certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile PM) or strong PMO governance exposure
- Instructional design / multimedia development background
