About the role

The Communications and Visual Design Specialist will focus on supporting the lead Business Architect to:

• Develop strategic communication for the business architecture team aligned to brand guidelines and relevant framework
• Undertake strategic marketing strategy for the team’s communications materials and engage with stakeholders to understand communications need
• Develop high quality visual content about architectural concepts aligned to brand guidelines and relevant frameworks

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the communications team to develop and execute powerful narratives around architectural projects, integrating advanced visual elements that enhance storytelling, promote the value of business architecture and help to build an understanding of what the Branch does for the Agency.
• Undertake research across the business to identify the needs and concerns of the target audiences and establish a marketing strategy for our communications materials.
• Produce high quality visual content by distilling complex architectural concepts and findings into clear, concise and compelling visuals and presentations that accurately reflect strategic business objectives.

Highly Desirable

• Minimum of 5 years Visual design experience &/or communications/marketing
• Demonstrated experience in traditional and emerging communication practices and communication strategy, marketing practices and marketing strategy.
• Demonstrated experience in visual design, with a proven track record within business strategy or architecture.
• Demonstrated experience with organisational storytelling for both internal and external stakeholders.
