About the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior CyberArk Engineer to join a large enterprise environment and play a key role in strengthening privileged access security and identity protection capabilities.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead the uplift of Privileged Access Management (PAM) capabilities, delivering CyberArk solutions that protect critical accounts, systems and services while reducing cyber security risk.
You will work closely with security, infrastructure and application teams to deliver secure and scalable solutions across a complex technology environment.
Key responsibilities
- Implement, configure and support CyberArk Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions across enterprise environments.
- Onboard privileged and service accounts into CyberArk, including credential vaulting and automated password rotation.
- Integrate CyberArk with infrastructure, applications, databases and cloud platforms.
- Conduct service account discovery, classification and dependency analysis.
- Design, implement and optimise password rotation processes across multiple service account types.
- Manage bulk onboarding and credential rotation activities across infrastructure, applications, databases and shared privileged accounts.
- Develop and maintain privileged access governance controls, standards and operational processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve CyberArk and privileged access issues.
- Produce technical documentation, support procedures and operational handover materials.
- Collaborate with security, infrastructure and application teams to ensure successful delivery outcomes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and broader identity security initiatives.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Demonstrated experience implementing and administering CyberArk PAM solutions.
- Strong understanding of privileged access management, credential vaulting and identity security principles.
- Hands-on experience with privileged and service account onboarding, discovery and password rotation.
- Experience integrating security solutions across infrastructure, applications and databases.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID and enterprise authentication services.
- Experience working with infrastructure, application and database teams within large enterprise environments.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience developing operational processes, governance controls and technical documentation.
Highly desirable criteria
- CyberArk certification, such as Defender, Sentry or Guardian.
- Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) solutions.
- Experience with CyberArk components and enterprise PAM architecture.
- Understanding of Zero Trust security principles and cyber security frameworks.
- Experience working across large-scale transformation or PAM uplift programs.
Desirable criteria
- Experience working within government or other large, complex organisations.
- Relevant qualifications in Cyber Security, Information Technology or a related discipline.
- Experience with cloud environments and modern authentication technologies.
- Knowledge of security governance, risk and compliance requirements.
