Overview

We are seeking skilled Data Analysts to support parallel pay runs between a legacy payroll system and a new payroll system. This role involves collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and organizing payroll-related data to ensure seamless payroll processing. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience with payroll and rostering systems.

Responsibilities

• Collect data from various sources for integration into Rostering, Time and Attendance, and Payroll solutions

• Review and clarify business requirements to ensure data accuracy and consistency

• Clean, validate, and organize data to prepare for pay runs

• Analyze payroll data using statistical methods to identify discrepancies and trends

• Utilize tools such as Excel, Rostering, Time and Attendance, and Payroll solutions

• Work with payroll solutions such as PayGlobal, Deputy, Mirus, and Optima to support payroll processes

• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accurate data processing and reporting

• Provide insights and recommendations to improve payroll data integrity and efficiency

Skills

• Proven experience in data analysis, particularly within payroll and workforce management systems

• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with payroll solutions such as PayGlobal, Deputy, Mirus, or Optima (experience with these tools is desirable)

• Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail

• Ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into data-driven insights

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

• Experience in data cleaning, validation, and transformation

• Understanding of statistical methods and data visualization techniques

• Background in HR, Finance, or IT-related fields is preferred
