About the role

We are seeking an experienced Dynamics Developer to join a large-scale justice-focused program delivering meaningful outcomes to the Queensland government. This contract opportunity, based in Brisbane CBD (with hybrid working options), offers the chance to contribute to the delivery of enterprise-grade Microsoft Dynamics and Azure-based solutions within a collaborative and high-performing team.

This role is based in Brisbane; however, remote working arrangements will be considered. Candidates located in QLD, NSW or VIC are preferred, particularly those with prior government experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and extend Microsoft Dynamics and Power Platform-based enterprise applications
• Build and maintain solutions within a Microsoft Azure environment
• Develop C# plugins and implement JavaScript within Dynamics forms
• Implement and support Power Automate workflows
• Manage source code and contribute to iterative development practices
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to produce design and architecture artefacts
• Translate functional specifications and user stories into robust technical solutions
• Produce and maintain technical documentation and “as built” artefacts
• Identify opportunities to reduce technical debt and improve system performance
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring and leadership within the development team

Highly desirable criteria

• Minimum 3 years’ experience implementing Microsoft Dynamics and Power Platform solutions
• Proven experience developing C# plugins
• Strong experience implementing JavaScript within Dynamics forms
• Experience implementing Power Automate solutions
• Experience working within DevOps environments
• Minimum 5 years’ experience across the .NET stack

Desirable criteria

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline
• Understanding of government or justice sector environments
• Experience implementing and consuming Web APIs
• Knowledge of modern design patterns and architectural principles
• Experience with Microsoft ASP.NET
• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery frameworks
