About the role

The ICT Senior Business Analyst will engage with internal departments and external vendors to define and support business change, aligning initiatives with organizational goals and priorities. You’ll be an integral part of the ICT team, ensuring that business and technology solutions are fit for purpose and support the ongoing development of Business Analysis framework.

Key responsibilities

• Engage business departments to identify benefits and requirements for technical and non-technical projects.
• Work closely with external vendors to confirm and translate requirements into actionable business artefacts.
• Lead analysis and design for business change initiatives, supporting technology solution definitions and project delivery.
• Contribute to project scope, timelines, and budget adherence, ensuring changes align with architecture direction and goals.
• Develop and maintain Business Analysis framework and participate in the ICT BA Community of Practice.
   

Highly desirable criteria

• Tertiary qualification in ICT, Business, or similar fields.
• Experience in the energy sector.
• Industry certifications in Business Analysis (e.g., BABOK).
   

Desirable criteria

• Background in Operational Technology (e.g., SCADA) or real-time systems.
• Knowledge of energy trading, customer experience design, and change management considerations.
• Familiarity with software development, PI, and PI Vision.

Skills and experience

• Extensive business engagement and stakeholder relationship management experience.
• Expertise in business process design, BPMN modeling, and complex operational environments.
• Demonstrated ability in business case development, vendor evaluation, and release lifecycle management.
• Proficiency in quality management, workshop facilitation, and transitioning projects into business operations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience in team leadership within business analysis functions.
