About the Role
This opportunity exists within the Information & Technology team. The ICT Officer role operates in a complex and dynamic ICT environment, supporting clients both in a Service Desk environment and on-premises as required. Reporting to the team manager, the ICT Officer provides vital IT services to support the organisation’s objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain strong, positive relationships with management, team members, and stakeholders, and actively participate in teamwork and activities.
- Provide accurate specialist advice and guidance on ICT operations and information management to stakeholders.
- Investigate system, process, and service issues and assist in implementing remedies and preventative measures.
- Execute agreed operational procedures, contributing to standards and good practice.
- Participate in service delivery, including product development, testing, user support, and maintaining accurate records/documentation.
- Actively contribute to achieving team goals and objectives.
- Promote an equitable, healthy, and safe work environment.
- Perform other duties as directed.
Highly Desirable Criteria
- Experience with ITSM tool ServiceNow.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business and/or Information Technology.
Desirable Criteria
- Familiarity with Queensland Government ICT Skills Framework and Skills for the Information Age (SFIA).
