Overview

Our client is seeking to engage an Integration & API  Developer to design, develop, and integrate APIs using Azure DevOps, MS .NET, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Functions across cloud and on-prem services. This role emphasizes solution design, project leadership, operational support, and problem management, while also mentoring ICT Officers.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate scope, plan activities, and meet technical/business requirements.
• Oversee small to medium projects involving external providers, monitoring progress and resolving issues.
• Implement new systems/services in line with ICT requirements.
• Provide leadership in designing and implementing learning, teaching, and admin software.
• Conduct technical analysis and liaise with clients for effective solutions.
• Undertake complex programming, configuration, and system maintenance tasks.
• Ensure production systems meet service level requirements.
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements.
• Develop maintenance plans and ensure system reliability.
• Ensure security best practices for applications and services.
• Provide technical leadership in Microsoft and Azure technologies.
• Focus on usability and supportability in software and service development.
• Build positive relationships within ITS and with key stakeholders.
• Share expertise, documentation, and mentor ICT Officers.
• Maintain system documentation and contribute to technical decisions.
• Collaborate with other teams for successful ICT service delivery.

Skills

• Tertiary qualifications in information technology 
• 7+ years experience years of Integration development 
• Extensive experience developing Rest APIs 
• Experience with enterprise data 
• Experience with Data Lake 
• Experience with Azure functions, Azure SQL, Azure Front Door, Azure APIM 
• Experience with .Net
