About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Integration Architect to join a major State Government transformation program focused on modernising enterprise supply chain and pharmacy operations.

You will be part of a specialist project team delivering a large-scale SAP S/4HANA implementation that includes a modern Warehouse Management System (WMS) and broader ERP capabilities. This is a hands-on architecture role where you will be responsible for designing secure, scalable and high-performing integration solutions across SAP and connected enterprise platforms.

Working closely with Solution Architects, Enterprise Architects, Functional Consultants, Infrastructure and Security teams, you will ensure integration solutions align with enterprise architecture standards while supporting the successful delivery of a critical business transformation initiative.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end technical architecture for system integrations and custom extensions.
• Design scalable integration solutions across SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, SAP CPI and connected enterprise applications.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects and Functional SMEs to translate business requirements into technical integration designs.
• Ensure all integration solutions align with enterprise architecture, security standards and integration frameworks.
• Produce architecture documentation including Solution Architecture Designs (SAD) and Solution Implementation Designs (SID).
• Design integration patterns supporting RFC, IDoc, OData, REST and SOAP services.
• Define infrastructure, networking, authentication, SSO, certificate management and connectivity requirements.
• Specify performance, scalability, monitoring, logging and operational support requirements.
• Contribute to WRICEF design while maintaining SAP Clean Core principles.
• Partner with Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure and Security teams to validate technical solutions.
• Present complex technical concepts to both technical and business stakeholders.
• Support knowledge transfer and capability uplift across project teams.
• Deliver project outcomes within agreed timelines and quality standards.

Highly desirable criteria

• 10+ years’ experience in Integration Architecture within complex enterprise environments.
• Extensive SAP S/4HANA integration architecture experience.
• Strong experience delivering enterprise integrations supporting supply chain, warehousing, logistics or ERP environments.
• Demonstrated expertise across:
  • SAP S/4HANA
  • SAP BTP
  • SAP CPI
  • SAP Cloud ALM
  • Strong knowledge of integration technologies including:
  • RFC
  • IDoc
  • REST APIs
  • SOAP
  • OData
• Experience designing secure integrations using SSO, SAML, OAuth, certificate management and encryption.
• Proven ability to produce architecture artefacts including SAD and SID documentation.
• Strong understanding of enterprise networking, infrastructure, connectivity, performance and resilience.
• Experience working alongside Enterprise and Solution Architects on large transformation programs.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Desirable criteria

• Experience within healthcare, pharmaceutical or other highly regulated industries.
• Experience integrating SAP with third-party customer ordering platforms and transport carrier systems.
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and supply chain operations.
• Previous experience delivering projects within State Government or large enterprise environments.

• Proven ability to work collaboratively across architecture, infrastructure, security and project delivery teams.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced delivery environment.
