About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Java Developer to join a high-performing, Agile team working on a cutting-edge SaaS platform. This contract role provides the opportunity to contribute to a large-scale, impactful project used by key sectors, including government, health, and community services.

The role involves working with a modern tech stack, including Angular, Spring Boot, MySQL, and AWS. You will play an integral part in the development, maintenance, and scaling of the platform, ensuring its continued success and performance.

This is a 6-month contract based in Brisbane City with a hybrid work model, offering a competitive daily rate and the potential for contract extension.

Skills You Bring:

• 5+ years of experience working with Java (Java 7/8+) and Spring Boot
• Strong proficiency in Angular, HTML, and CSS for frontend development
• Solid experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs
• Advanced knowledge of SQL and MySQL database design and optimization
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment
• Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Exposure to AWS services, particularly AWS Lambda, is a plus
• Strong problem-solving abilities, with a focus on clean, maintainable code
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork
