About the role

The purpose of the Lead Resourcer, is to provide suitably qualified candidates for Exclaim IT commercial accounts. Working in collaboration with Account Managers and the administration team, this role plays a key part in achieving team goals. Additionally, the Lead Resourcer provides coaching, mentoring, and technical oversight to other Resources/Candidate Managers, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and fostering a fun yet high-performance culture within Exclaim IT’s Commercial team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Heading hunting and talent sourcing through networks and other platforms such as ATS, Seek Talent Search, LinkedIn Recruiter etc
  • Generating leads and building connections through creative marketing
  • Develop a network of qualified candidates in high-demand IT skill areas
  • Conduct candidate screening, including phone interviews, face-to-face interviews, and follow-up meetings
  • Staying on top of industry trends and cutting-edge technology
  • Working with some of Australian leading companies and enjoying with technology thought leaders
  • Provide administrative support to Exclaim IT’s core business

Skills and experience

  • Proven experience in IT, Digital, or Technology recruitment
  • Strong ability to source candidates with specialised IT skill sets
  • Experience developing and maintaining a network of qualified candidates
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding KPIs
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple roles simultaneously
  • Ability to assess candidate suitability based on skills, availability, and interest
  • Experience in candidate screening, interviews, and follow-up
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Account Managers and other team members
