About the role

A state government client is seeking a Master Scheduler to manage the portfolio schedule for a large transformation program. The role ensures alignment across workstreams, vendors, and delivery teams.

You will maintain the master schedule, track dependencies, and support governance reporting. The role works closely with the Enterprise Program Management Office, Strategic Transformation teams, and delivery teams.

You will keep the program aligned with timelines, identify risks early, and support informed decision-making across the program.

Key Responsibilities

Schedule Management

• Develop and maintain a portfolio wide program schedule across workstreams and releases.
• Align project schedules with the overall program timeline.
• Update schedules regularly and communicate changes to stakeholders.

Dependency Management

• Maintain a program wide dependency register across teams, vendors, and partners.
• Identify schedule conflicts, risks, and blockers early.
• Work with delivery teams to resolve dependency issues.

Reporting and Governance

• Prepare schedule and dependency reports for governance forums and steering committees.
• Support governance activities through accurate schedule tracking and transparency.
• Use program tools such as PPM Tool and PowerBI to track and report progress.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Work with portfolio and project teams to validate schedules and dependencies.
• Collaborate with project directors, project managers, change managers, and business leaders.
• Provide structured communication to support decision-making and program visibility.

Highly Desirable Criteria

• Experience working in Public Safety environments.
• Experience supporting large transformation programs.

Desirable Criteria

• Knowledge of Agile and hybrid delivery models.
• Familiarity with risk management and governance frameworks.

Skills and Experience

• Proven experience managing program schedules and dependencies within enterprise transformation programs.
• Strong experience with scheduling tools such as PPM Tool.
• Experience with reporting dashboards such as PowerBI.
• Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage complex schedules and resolve conflicts under pressure.
