Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Mobile Applications Developer to join their Brisbane-based team on a contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on cross-platform mobile apps using Flutter, delivering innovative solutions that make a real impact.

About the Role

You will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and deploying mobile applications while collaborating closely with a skilled team of backend developers, database administrators, and product managers. This role gives you the chance to work across the full app lifecycle — from design and coding through to testing and deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance Flutter apps for iOS and Android.
• Integrate with .NET backends and Azure services.
• Manage and optimise SQL Server databases.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Mentor junior developers and share best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with mobile development trends.

About You

You are a proactive, collaborative developer with strong experience in Flutter and a solid understanding of .NET and SQL Server. You’re comfortable integrating mobile apps with cloud services, building high-performance apps, and contributing to team-wide best practices.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Strong Flutter (or similar) experience for cross-platform mobile development.
• Proficient in .NET and SQL Server.
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services and API integration.
• Knowledge of mobile development best practices (testing, performance optimisation, deployment).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control systems (Git).
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience in EdTech or similar domains is a plus.
