Overview

Our client is seeking a Network Engineer (Intermediate to Senior). In this role you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing complex networking, infrastructure, and AV systems across the organization. This role requires extensive experience in networking technologies, security systems, and the ability to manage and troubleshoot various types of infrastructure, including CCTV, IPTV, and IP telephony. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with the Meraki stack, Cisco equipment, and a range of AV systems, with the ability to navigate and optimize these environments using their strong technical expertise.

Responsibilities

• Network Design & Management:

  • Design, implement, and maintain the organization's network infrastructure, ensuring high performance, security, and reliability.
  • Manage and troubleshoot networking components including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points, with a focus on Cisco and Meraki stack.
  • Optimize network performance by monitoring, analyzing, and tuning the network using tools and dashboards.

• Infrastructure Management:

  • Maintain and support the overall IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, and data centers.
  • Ensure seamless integration and operation of infrastructure components to support business operations.

• CCTV & Security Systems:

  • Implement, manage, and troubleshoot CCTV systems, ensuring continuous monitoring and security.
  • Manage security systems, including access control systems, to safeguard the organization’s assets and personnel.

• Audio-Visual (AV) Systems:

  • Oversee the deployment and management of AV systems, including digital signage, video conferencing, and presentation technologies.
  • Provide support for the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of AV equipment across the organization.

• IPTV & IP Telephony:

  • Manage and maintain IPTV systems, ensuring the delivery of content across the network.
  • Implement and support IP telephony systems, including VoIP, ensuring reliable communication solutions.

• IT Service Management (ITSM):

  • Apply general ITIL principles to manage and optimize IT services, including incident, problem, and change management processes.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance IT service delivery and customer satisfaction.

• Documentation & Compliance:

  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation of network architecture, configurations, and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, policies, and regulations.

• Collaboration & Communication:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, and facilities, to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other stakeholders as needed.

Skills

• Experience:
• 5+ years of experience in networking and infrastructure roles, with a focus on Cisco and Meraki technologies.
• Proven experience with CCTV, AV systems, IPTV, and IP telephony.
• Solid understanding of security systems and access control.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in navigating and managing Meraki dashboards and Cisco networking equipment.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols, routing, switching, and firewall configurations. -Experience with ITSM frameworks, particularly ITIL, is a plus.
• Certifications: While certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, Meraki, ITIL) are beneficial, they are not essential for this role. 
• Soft Skills: – Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders. – Self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
