About the role
Join a high-impact transformation program within the public sector as an Operations Manager. In this role, you’ll oversee key operational functions including audit management, financial processing, recruitment, onboarding, resource planning, and quality assurance. You’ll support program governance by preparing reports, briefs, and high-level correspondence, while ensuring effective day-to-day business operations. This is a strategic, hands-on role suited to someone experienced in supporting large IT or HRIS programs, ideally with exposure to SAP SuccessFactors or similar platforms. Strong stakeholder engagement and leadership skills are essential.
Key responsibilities
- Audit Management: Overseeing internal controls, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards, and liaising with external auditors.
- Day-to-Day Business Operations: Managing daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in all processes.
- Financial Processing: Overseeing budget planning, financial reporting, and ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.
- Resource Management: Allocating human, financial, and material resources efficiently to meet programme objectives.
- Public Service Sourcing and Recruitment: Ensuring the programme is staffed with skilled professionals by managing recruitment processes in line with public service guidelines.
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience managing operational support in large programs, ideally within government.
- Strong knowledge of financial processing, audit management, and quality assurance.
- Experience coordinating recruitment, onboarding, and resource planning activities.
- Skilled in preparing high-level briefs, reports, and stakeholder correspondence.
- Familiarity with SAP SuccessFactors or similar HRIS platforms is highly desirable.
