About the Role

This role is focused on leading and implementing sustainable transformational change within the department to support the adoption of cloud-based evergreen technologies. The position involves working with IT leadership to assess capabilities, develop roadmaps, and lead change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of new technologies and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with IT leadership to assess current capabilities, identify gaps, and develop a roadmap for adopting contemporary working methods.
  • Design and implement change management strategies to foster collaboration, customer-centricity, and adaptability across IT teams during transformation.
  • Lead the development of change responses, training, workforce, and business readiness activities related to new business processes, system changes, and solution-related changes.
  • Provide strategic organisational change management advice, including risk and issue management, and manage the implementation of change activities.
  • Lead collaborative engagement with business stakeholders to assess and manage change impacts and prepare the business for change.
  • Communicate clearly, succinctly, and in a human-centric manner, leveraging exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Establish and maintain key stakeholder relationships to support effective business change and workforce transition.

Desirable Criteria

  • Qualifications in project and/or change management (highly regarded).
  • Experience in supporting the adoption of evergreen technologies.
  • Working knowledge of contemporary IT change management.
  • Ability to align change and workforce delivery to strategic priorities while managing organisational constraints.

Skills and Experience

  • Strong experience in change management, particularly in IT transformations.
  • Ability to work across multiple projects and adapt priorities quickly as circumstances change.
  • High competence in working with hybrid project and workforce management methodologies.
  • Experience in managing stakeholder engagement using best practices, including client and supplier management.
  • Knowledge of project and workforce management methodologies.
