About the role
A project has commenced to replace the primary application with a new enhanced digital solution that aims to enhance data and financial management, user experience, functionality, and security, while aligning with QLD government assurance and enterprise architectural principles. The project is preparing to move into implementation phase and looking to bring on a Change and Training Manager to lead and support a range of activities that focus on training people on the new application and the people side of change – including changes to business processes, systems, and technology.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure seamless integration of change management activities.
- Enable the design, development, delivery, and management of essential project communications.
- Coordinate all project communication activities, ensuring consistency and clarity in messaging.
- Develop a training plan that aligns with project goals.
- Develop a range of training materials that are engaging, informative and tailored to the needs of end users.
- Deliver training to internal and external users where appropriate and work to upskill users on the new application
Highly desirable
- A solid grasp of how individuals navigate change and the change process and demonstrated knowledge of
- change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Demonstrated experience (5+ years) in change management roles, including structured change implementation.
- Demonstrated experience creating training materials and conducting training
- Comfortable engaging with internal and external end users and project teams.
- Experience participating in project delivery teams comprising a mix of employees, contractors, and implementation partners.
