Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Organisational Change Manager to lead the change management efforts for its ERP transformation program. This role will develop and implement strategies to ensure successful adoption of new ERP systems and processes, driving minimal disruption and maximizing employee engagement throughout the transition.
Responsibilities
- Change Strategy Development and Implementation:
Develop and execute change management strategies that align with the ERP transformation goals, using structured methodologies to ensure smooth transitions. - Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:
Engage stakeholders across all levels, from production floor to executive leadership, and create effective communication plans to keep them informed and engaged. - Training and Support:
Design and oversee training programs to equip employees with the skills needed for the new ERP system. Develop tailored training materials for different user groups and implement in-app guidance. - Resistance Management:
Identify potential resistance and develop strategies to address concerns, ensuring a smooth transition. - Monitoring, Reporting, and Continuous Improvement:
Establish metrics to track ERP adoption, monitor change initiatives, report progress, and use feedback for continuous improvement. - Integration with Project Management:
Collaborate with project managers to integrate change management activities into the overall project plan. - Cultural Alignment and Transformation:
Facilitate a cultural shift towards digital transformation, promoting a data-driven culture and enhancing reporting lines and data utilization. - Industry-Specific Considerations:
Address the unique requirements of the meat processing industry, including food safety compliance, supply chain complexity, and regulatory standards, while balancing customization and efficiency.
Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Business Management, or related field; an MBA or relevant master’s degree preferred.

7-10 years of technology experience, with at least 5 years in ERP implementation and change management.

Proven track record in managing change initiatives in large-scale ERP transformations, preferably in the food processing or manufacturing sector.

Strong understanding of change management principles, with certifications in frameworks like Prosci being highly desirable.

Experience in managing solutions teams and leading business/IT training for complex projects.

Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is advantageous.

Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management and executive-level communication.

Knowledge of the meat processing industry and its challenges is a plus.
