Overview

We are seeking a skilled Ping Specialist to join our client’s team on a 6-month contract, providing expert-level support and development for Ping Identity solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of identity and access management (IAM) protocols, a track record of successful deployments, and strong troubleshooting capabilities. This role will be critical in enhancing our client’s identity and access solutions, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure secure and seamless user access.

Responsibilities

• Configuration & Implementation: Configure, implement, and maintain Ping Identity solutions, including PingFederate, PingID, and PingAccess, tailored to meet our security and IAM requirements
• Integration & Support: Lead the integration of Ping solutions with various applications, databases, and systems, ensuring alignment with security protocols
• Troubleshooting & Optimization: Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to authentication, authorization, and access control. Continuously optimize the Ping environment for improved performance
• Documentation & Training: Develop detailed technical documentation, provide training for internal teams, and assist with the creation of best practices
• Compliance & Security: Ensure solutions meet compliance requirements and are in line with industry security standards
• Collaboration: Work alongside DevOps, IT, and security teams to design and implement robust identity and access management policies

Skills

• 3 + years experience in Ping Identity solutions
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency with PingFederate, PingAccess, PingID, and associated IAM protocols (OAuth, SAML, OIDC).
  • Experience with multi-factor authentication (MFA) implementations.
  • Familiarity with API gateways, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and directory services (LDAP, Active Directory).
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, excellent communication and documentation skills
• Ping Identity certification or other relevant IAM certifications.
• Experience with hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
• Knowledge of other IAM tools and platforms (Okta, ForgeRock, etc.
