We’re partnering with a forward-thinking enterprise delivering large-scale technical programs. They’re seeking a Technical Implementation Project Manager to lead multiple enterprise releases and ensure seamless delivery across internal teams, vendors, and strategic partners.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll oversee complex implementations, manage dependencies, and align technical delivery with business objectives and change initiatives.
The role
As the Implementation Lead, you will:
- Lead planning and execution of multiple enterprise releases, ensuring scope, quality, and timelines are met
- Coordinate delivery across internal teams, vendors, and strategic partners
- Manage dependencies and integration points between workstreams
- Directly oversee the Program Scheduler for accurate program-wide scheduling
- Act as the primary liaison between technical teams, business leaders, and change managers
- Identify, mitigate, and escalate risks and issues proactively
- Foster collaboration, accountability, and alignment across delivery teams
Key responsibilities
Project leadership & governance:
- Establish and maintain governance frameworks: risk, issues, escalations, compliance
- Ensure adherence to organisational standards and regulatory requirements
Delivery coordination:
- Oversee technical delivery across multiple workstreams and vendors
- Manage integration points and dependencies between initiatives
- Monitor progress against scope, schedule, and budget
Stakeholder engagement:
- Provide clear reporting to senior leadership and steering committees
- Align technical implementation with business transformation and change management initiatives
Team leadership:
- Manage the Program Scheduler and support effective schedule and dependency management
- Promote accountability and collaboration across teams and partners
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience managing large-scale technical implementations and enterprise releases
- Experience in complex, multi-vendor enterprise environments
- Strong knowledge of program scheduling, dependency management, and governance
- Familiarity with change management and transformation initiatives
- Hands-on experience with MS Project, JIRA, Confluence
- Agile or hybrid delivery methodology experience
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines
Preferred:
- Industry certification such as PMP or Prince2
