About the role

Our client is seeking two experienced Principal Project Managers to join their Cyber Security Program and lead the successful delivery of large scale, complex ICT and information management projects.
You will be responsible for overseeing cyber security initiatives, with a particular focus on Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) solutions. Working closely with senior stakeholders and project teams, you will ensure projects are delivered within agreed timeframes, budgets and quality standards.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced project management professional to contribute to significant cyber security initiatives within a large and complex organisation.
 

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage one or more large scale cyber security projects, with a focus on MFA initiatives.
• Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with established project management methodologies, standards and best practice.
• Monitor project performance against agreed plans, budgets, timeframes and quality standards.
• Provide strategic advice and input into project deliverables, ensuring alignment with relevant strategies and architecture.
• Lead, guide and mentor multidisciplinary project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Build strong relationships with project stakeholders and ensure effective communication and engagement.
• Prepare high quality written submissions, briefs, presentations and information papers to support informed decision making.

Highly desirable criteria

• Demonstrated experience implementing, integrating and migrating Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) solutions within large and complex organisations.
• Experience working with RSA SecurID and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Strong knowledge of identity and access management technologies, including MFA platforms and directory services.
• Proven experience delivering cyber security initiatives focused on strengthening identity security and establishing security foundations.
• Experience delivering projects that support mandatory compliance and cyber security maturity requirements.

Desirable criteria

• Experience working within large, federated organisations.
• Knowledge of cyber security frameworks, policies and compliance requirements.
• Experience working within healthcare or hospital environments.
• Understanding of how identity and access controls contribute to safe and secure service delivery.
• An open C class driver’s licence.

Skills and experience

• High level expertise in project management methodologies, preferably PRINCE2.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex ICT projects.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple multidisciplinary project teams.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, consultation and communication skills.
• Strong stakeholder management capabilities and a client focused approach.
• Ability to provide expert advice on project management techniques, methodologies and tools.
• Strong written communication skills, including experience preparing briefs, presentations and information papers.
