I’m currently partnering with a large, complex enterprise organisation undergoing a significant HR systems transformation, and we’re looking for an experienced Program Manager to lead the delivery of a high-impact HRIS program.
This is not a standard project role. This is a business-critical program sitting at the intersection of HR, Technology, Payroll and Operations with direct visibility to senior leadership and the steering committee.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Group Manager – HRIS, you will take full accountability for the end-to-end program delivery ensuring the overall plan, timeline, governance, and budget are managed and maintained throughout the lifecycle.
You’ll lead PMO delivery, oversee vendor performance, manage executive reporting, and ensure a smooth transition into BAU once the system goes live.
This role requires someone who can operate strategically while remaining close enough to delivery to maintain momentum and quality.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Owning the overall program plan, budget, and governance framework
• Reporting progress and risks to the steering committee and executive stakeholders
• Leading cross-functional SMEs across HR, Payroll, Technology and Operations
• Driving stakeholder engagement and structured internal communications
• Managing third-party vendors to ensure quality and delivery standards are met
• Monitoring and escalating risks, issues, and decision registers (RAID)
• Partnering closely with Change Management to ensure adoption and alignment
• Developing a clear support model to transition from project delivery into BAU
• Ensuring high-quality outputs across all streams of the program

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience delivering large-scale HRIS or workforce system programs
• Strong background in SAP SuccessFactors and/or SAP Payroll
• Deep understanding of Time & Attendance systems (Kronos/UKG highly regarded)
• Experience operating within formal PMO governance environments
• Demonstrated ability to manage executive stakeholders and steering committees
• Vendor management experience across complex system implementations
• Strong process improvement and business transformation capability
• Solid knowledge of Australian labour laws and payroll compliance
• Confident communicator, able to engage frontline through to C-suite
