We’re partnering with a large, complex organisation delivering multiple enterprise releases – and they’re looking for an experienced Program Scheduler to bring structure, visibility and control to program-wide timelines and dependencies.
This is a pivotal role supporting a major delivery portfolio, where your schedule integrity and dependency management will directly influence program success.
The role
As the Program Scheduler, you’ll develop and maintain the master schedule across multiple workstreams and releases, while owning the program-wide dependency register. You’ll work closely with the Technical Implementation Project Manager, delivery leads, business stakeholders, vendors and strategic partners to ensure timelines remain aligned, realistic and transparent.
If you love solving scheduling puzzles, surfacing risks early, and keeping enterprise programs on track – this one’s for you.
Key responsibilities
Schedule management:
- Build and maintain a comprehensive program-wide schedule across all releases and workstreams
- Ensure individual project schedules align to the master timeline
- Regularly update, validate and communicate schedule changes
Dependency management:
- Own and maintain the program dependency register across teams, projects, vendors and partners
- Identify conflicts and constraints early, escalating risks to the Program/Implementation PM
- Facilitate resolution of dependencies through proactive collaboration
Reporting & governance:
- Produce clear schedule and dependency reporting for steering committees and governance forums
- Ensure schedule integrity, transparency and traceability
- Use tools like MS Project, JIRA and Confluence to track and report progress
Stakeholder engagement:
- Work with internal teams, vendors and strategic partners to validate timelines and assumptions
- Partner with change managers and business leaders to align delivery with business priorities
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in program scheduling and dependency management within enterprise environments
- Strong proficiency with MS Project (essential)
- Experience using JIRA / Confluence in delivery environments
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and confidence managing complexity
- Excellent communication skills — able to influence without authority
- Ability to proactively resolve conflicts and keep delivery teams aligned
Nice to have:
- Multi-vendor / large transformation program experience
- Exposure to Agile or hybrid delivery models
- Familiarity with governance and risk management frameworks
