About the role
Coordinate projects. Drive visibility. Keep delivery on track. Join a major Queensland Government environment as a Project Delivery and Control Officer and support a portfolio of technology and operational initiatives across data, cyber security and digital systems. This role suits a highly organised project professional who can turn meetings into clear actions, keep project records up to date and deliver accurate reporting for project teams and senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate project meetings, workshops, agendas and stakeholder communications.
- Prepare project, controls and executive reports, packs and presentations.
- Track actions, risks, issues, decisions and change requests through to closure.
- Maintain project records, templates and documentation across Jira and Confluence.
- Support delivery across data, cyber security, operational systems and digital projects.
Highly desirable criteria
- Bring project coordination, project controls, PMO or project support experience.
- Use Jira and Confluence with confidence.
- Show strong report writing, minute taking and action tracking skills.
- Apply strong attention to detail across multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Support technology, data, software or digital transformation projects.
Desirable criteria
- Apply project management, risk, assurance or project control methods.
- Improve project templates, reporting packs and documentation standards.
- Support steering committees, reference groups or senior stakeholder forums.
Skills and experience
- Use Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Communicate clearly with project teams, stakeholders and management.
- Capture meeting outcomes and turn them into clear, actionable tasks.
- Prioritise competing deadlines while maintain strong attention to detail.
- Work independently while contribute effectively within a project team.
