Overview
I’m partnering with a major manufacturing organisation with operations spanning multiple countries, all laser-focused on modernising how they support their people. They’re kicking off a flagship HRIS uplift that will take them from a patchwork of legacy systems to a streamlined, cloud-based environment—and they’re looking for a Senior Project Manager who thrives on complexity, clarity, and delivering real business change.
If you’ve led large-scale HRIS or payroll-focused projects and know your way around awards, EBAs and enterprise environments, this one has your name on it.
About the role
You’ll take end-to-end ownership of a multi-stream HR transformation program encompassing payroll, time & attendance, and workforce management systems. This is a hands-on delivery role where you’ll shape roadmap decisions, align global stakeholders, and keep a high-visibility project moving forward with confidence.
You will:
- Drive the HRIS transformation from legacy platforms into a modern cloud environment
- Oversee project governance, reporting, budgeting and vendor management
- Work closely with Payroll, People & Culture and Operations teams
- Manage risks, dependencies and change impacts across a complex enterprise
- Ensure system configuration aligns with award/EBA requirements
- Lead cross-functional teams and keep the program aligned with global business objectives
About you
You’re a strong, steady delivery leader who knows HRIS programs inside-out and can navigate a complex stakeholder map without breaking stride.
You bring:
- Proven experience delivering HRIS, payroll or time & attendance projects in enterprise settings
- Strong understanding of awards, EBAs and workforce compliance
- Experience uplifting legacy systems into cloud platforms
- Ability to manage vendors and internal teams across multiple countries
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and stakeholder-engagement skills
- A steady hand under pressure and a knack for simplifying technical detail
- Experience in manufacturing (nice to have but not essential)
