Project Officer

About the role

Our clients ICTS unit is going through a significant ICTS transformation over the next 12 months with the implementation of new systems and an organization-wide rollouts of both hardware and software projects. This position will be critical to support both staff and ICTS staff during this phase of change in the combined service desk, testing and Infrastructure technical role.

The position will be used to backfill technical staff while they are working on a project and/or be placed onto a ISO27001 Cyber Essential 8 remediation project themselves, depending on the skills and knowledge of the applicant.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first, second, and third level support for approved software and hardware in accordance with Managed Operating Environment (MOE) and Standard Desktop guidelines.
• support PC’s and laptops (setting up with remote access when necessary), iPhones, mobile phones and other mobile technology devices,
• support various in-house applications including MS Office, desktop applications, SharePoint, Citrix, internal operational systems, and other as required,
• Backfill staff on projects as required.
• Perform ISO27001, Essential 8 Cyber Remediation tasks under the guidance of the Infrastructure manager

Skills and experience

• Industry qualifications in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Office Productivity Suite and ITIL.
• Experience with Windows 11
• Experience with the ISO27001, Essential 8 Cyber remediation.
