About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join a large-scale government programme focused on delivering a Client Relationship Management (CRM) system to support critical community services.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a meaningful initiative that supports vulnerable individuals and families. You will work across a complex stakeholder environment, collaborating with internal teams, government agencies and external partners to drive effective outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the capture and development of business and solution requirements, including user stories and acceptance criteria
• Develop and analyse process diagrams using BPMN standards
• Collaborate within Agile delivery teams to produce clear, testable and unambiguous requirements
• Conduct business impact assessments and support process analysis activities
• Provide expert input into project artefacts such as functional specifications, test scenarios and business cases
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops and manage consultations across diverse groups
• Perform gap and fit analysis to assess ICT solution alignment with business needs
• Support architectural assessments and solution selection activities
• Engage with vendors during procurement and evaluate technical capabilities
• Assess organisational impacts and contribute to change management activities

Highly desirable criteria

• Experience working on CRM platforms, particularly Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Strong background in Agile delivery within large government programmes
• Proven experience in stakeholder engagement across complex environments
• Experience in information security and handling sensitive data
   

Desirable criteria

• Experience in business transformation or reform initiatives
• Background in government service delivery environments
• Experience within human services or community-focused sectors
• Familiarity with tools such as Azure DevOps or JIRA
• Experience using BPMN modelling tools
   

Skills and experience

• Demonstrated experience in business analysis, including requirements elicitation, process modelling and testing
• Strong analytical skills with experience in options analysis, estimation and planning
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
• Proven experience working within Agile methodologies and delivery frameworks
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a complex programme environment
