About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Dynamics 365 Developer to join a large, complex program of work supporting critical frontline services. The role will focus on the development, deployment, support, and maintenance of Dynamics 365 CRM solutions and associated products, including custom workflows, plug-ins, integrations, and portals.
You’ll be working as part of a collaborative development team, contributing to the delivery of high-quality solutions that enable vital services to Queenslanders. This is a key technical role, requiring strong expertise in Dynamics 365 and related Microsoft technologies, alongside the ability to work effectively in an agile, outcomes-focused environment.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Dynamics 365 CRM solutions, including custom workflows, plug-ins, integrations, and portals.
• Work with the Program Development Manager and broader team to deliver high-quality outcomes and drive continuous improvement.
• Participate in development activities, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and release cycles to meet project deliverables.
• Apply and enhance agreed standards, ALM practices, and development processes to ensure solution quality and consistency.
• Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and testers to translate requirements into functional and technical designs.
• Take a proactive approach to resolving technical issues and ensuring solutions meet performance, security, and scalability requirements.
• Work with Azure services, DevOps pipelines, and GIT to deliver fit-for-purpose applications and integrations.
• Create and update technical design and as-built documentation to support solution delivery and operational handover.
• Provide ongoing support for existing applications, including defect resolution and enhancements.
 

Skills and Experience

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Senior Dynamics 365 Developer role.
• Proven expertise in Dynamics 365 solution lifecycle management, modular design, and ALM practices.
• Strong experience with GIT and Azure DevOps.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 modules, Power Apps Portals, Power Automate, workflows, plug-ins, and Unified Client Interface (Canvas) apps.
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services (e.g., service bus, DevOps pipelines, directory services, web services).
• Experience with Angular 6+, C#, HTML, CSS, and Web APIs.
• Ability to work effectively with business analysts, product owners, and testers to translate requirements into high-quality technical solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive, collaborative approach to delivery.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in small teams under tight deadlines.
• Commitment to knowledge sharing, capability uplift, and continuous improvement within development teams.
