Overview

As a Senior ICT Officer, you will advise on the strategic implementation and optimization of data protection and cloud-based systems to ensure alignment with our client’s goals and industry best practices. You will lead the design and delivery of innovative server and storage solutions, enhancing the security, scalability, and operational efficiency of our ICT infrastructure.

Responsibilities 

• Provide strategic advice and lead ICT projects to influence policies, organizational practices, and operational outcomes, ensuring consistent support and maintenance of BCE systems.
• Develop and maintain server and storage platforms prioritizing client usability and operational supportability, including deploying new equipment and services for ICT projects.
• Analyze technical data to address complex issues, making informed recommendations for new software developments, tools, and methods.
• Manage and enhance virtual server infrastructure, including on-premise, cloud, and related storage technologies.
• Supervise a team of IT professionals in the analysis, design, configuration, and implementation of innovative technologies.
• Develop strategies to offer sound, actionable advice aimed at improving organizational performance.
• Prepare technical reports and committee papers on significant projects and policy developments.
• Foster strong internal and external relationships to share knowledge and drive business outcomes.
• Collaborate with project teams, users, and leadership to plan, manage, and deliver information services and projects.
• Enhance operational performance by building capability across business areas.
• Maintain detailed system documentation and conduct regular backup validation and recovery planning.

Skills

• Experience with Window server 
• Experience with Microsoft Storage solutions  
• Experience with Azure, VMWare, SharePoint and SQL
• Experience with Access Database desirable but not essential.  
• Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or significant relevant experience in a similar role are highly regarded.
