We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, manage, and support secure, scalable, and high-performing enterprise network infrastructure across data centre and corporate environments. This role requires deep technical expertise in routing, switching, firewalls, secure WAN, and modern networking technologies, including SASE. Working closely with customers and internal stakeholders, you will lead network architecture initiatives, troubleshoot complex issues, and deliver innovative, resilient solutions that align with business objectives. The ideal candidate combines strong technical capability with excellent customer focus, commercial awareness, and a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join a growing Brisbane-based team. You will be responsible for designing, implementing and supporting secure, enterprise-grade network infrastructure across corporate and data centre environments.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement and support enterprise network infrastructure.
- Manage and troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking, including BGP, OSPF, VLANs and STP.
- Administer Cisco, Dell, Meraki and HPE Aruba networking solutions.
- Configure and support next-generation firewalls, SD-WAN, SASE and cloud connectivity (Azure and AWS).
- Monitor network performance and maintain technical documentation.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring and project support.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to deliver secure, resilient network solutions.
Highly Desirable Criteria
- 5+ years’ experience in enterprise networking.
- Strong experience with Cisco, Dell, routing, switching and firewall technologies.
- Hands-on experience with SD-WAN, SASE, VPNs and cloud networking.
- Experience supporting high-availability data centre environments.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, PCNSA/PCNSE or Fortinet NSE are highly regarded.
Desirable Criteria
- Experience with wireless networking (Meraki, HPE Aruba or Fortinet).
- Knowledge of SIP, VoIP, QoS and 3CX.
- Familiarity with ISO 27001, APRA CPS 234 or similar security frameworks.
