About the role

The Senior Procurement Officer will contribute to ITPs procurement function through strategic analysis and procurement planning, strategy development and implementation and the provision of expert knowledge and advice to stakeholders according to whole of government requirement and initiatives. It is essential the applicants have a demonstrated ability to work rapidly and facilitate compliant and rapid delivery of procurement outcomes.

• Contract Drafting and Negotiation
• Probity Monitoring

Highly desirable

• An ability to work rapidly and facilitate compliant and rapid delivery of procurement outcomes
• Experience in procurement and contract management, including contract negotiations, preferably in an ICT/digital enterprise environment.
• Demonstrated Information Technology/ICT Procurement knowledge and experience.
• Prior and recent experience with complex Procurement projects, preferably in a lead role in a large organisation or IT Project or Government
• Recent experience in developing and coordinating RFI/FRQ/ITO.
• QLD Government Procurement certification (please state which level held, preference is a Level 3).
• Demonstrated ability to develop QITC contract documentation and associated communication documents OR substantial experience in GITC.
