About the role

A state government client is seeking an experienced ICT Project Manager to lead the delivery of an end-to-end CRM system as part of a broader digital transformation initiative.

The role will provide senior project management leadership across planning, implementation, and delivery of user-centred and accessible digital solutions.

You will work closely with internal teams, government agencies, vendors, implementation partners, and external stakeholders. A strong focus on User Experience, accessibility, inclusive design, and WCAG 2.1 compliance will be key.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of ICT products and solutions within a complex program environment.
• Manage project planning, implementation, governance, reporting, risks, and change control.
• Ensure project outcomes are delivered on time, within scope, and to quality standards.
• Embed UX, accessibility, and inclusive design requirements across project deliverables.
• Manage vendor, implementation partner, and stakeholder relationships.
• Identify and resolve issues relating to applications, information, and infrastructure compatibility.
• Maintain project documentation, including UX and accessibility decisions.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans to support successful delivery.
• Support transition of solutions into business-as-usual operations.
• Lead collaborative stakeholder engagement and negotiations.

Highly desirable criteria

• Demonstrated ICT project delivery experience within complex or regulated environments.
• Experience delivering user-centred and accessible digital solutions.
• Contract and vendor management experience.
• Experience working with implementation partners and external stakeholders.
• Experience applying PRINCE2 and Agile methodologies in a blended delivery environment.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, influencing, and leadership skills.

Desirable criteria

• Experience with business reform, transformation, or enabling change projects.
• Experience on projects involving user-centred design or accessibility improvements.
• Experience within government service delivery environments.
• Experience within human services or community-focused environments.
• Knowledge or experience with Scaled Agile Framework practices.

• Senior ICT project management experience across complex delivery environments.
• Strong leadership and relationship management skills.
• Ability to work with senior executives, project teams, vendors, and external stakeholders.
• Strong governance, risk, quality, and change control capability.
• Ability to drive delivery outcomes while keeping solutions fit for purpose and accessible.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to proactively identify issues and drive practical solutions.
• Experience transitioning solutions into business-as-usual operations.
