Overview

Our client is seeking a Manual Test Analyst for a 6 month contract to join their Business Application Team. In this role you will work closely with development, integration, and operations teams to understand solutions and perform comprehensive independent testing to ensure the quality and reliability of business applications. This will be a 5 days a week onsite role. 

Responsibilities

• Providing detailed estimates for test effort.
• Analyzing requirements and acceptance criteria to formulate test cases that address ambiguities.
• Collaborating to ensure comprehensive end-to-end business process coverage, including integration points.
• Conducting test planning, maintaining comprehensive test plans, and developing risk-based execution strategies.
• Executing tests and reporting progress using company’s standards and tools.
• Supporting implementation planning and post-verification testing.
• Managing test environments and infrastructure to ensure productive and reliable test execution.
• Championing best practices in testing processes.
• Collaborating to improve testing processes continuously.

Skills

• 5+ years of hands on experience as a Manual Test Analyst 
• Previous experience using .Net and SQL
• Experience with Azure DevOps (preferred)
• Experience with Management Systems, Integration, Server Upgrades. 
• Good time management skills with the ability to prioritize and switch between tasks proactively.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong collaboration skills with both onsite and remote staff
• Excellent analytical skills
• Strong knowledge of testing best practices
• The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• The ability to understand business processes and communicate effectively with business and IT colleagues
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of test automation (desired)
• Experience with mobile device testing (desired)
