We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Test Analyst to support the delivery of key ICT initiatives within a large, complex environment. This role will be responsible for planning, executing, and reporting on testing across multiple systems and applications, ensuring that all solutions meet defined business and technical requirements. You will play a senior role within a collaborative test team, contributing to continuous improvement and supporting junior test analysts.
Plan, execute, and report on system, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) activities.
Translate business and technical requirements into effective test cases and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Identify, log, and manage defects, working closely with developers and business stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.
Utilise contemporary testing tools such as BrowserStack, ReadyAPI, LoadUI, Visual Studio, and Microsoft DevOps.
Apply structured testing methodologies across both Agile and Waterfall environments.
Contribute to testing documentation, estimates, and continuous process improvement.
Support and mentor junior test analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration and quality.
Extensive experience in software testing within large or complex environments.
Strong knowledge of modern testing tools and automation or performance testing techniques.
Proven ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining high-quality outcomes.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Experience in testing data migrations, integrated systems, and enterprise applications.
Relevant industry certification such as ISTQB or ANZTB Foundation or Specialist level (highly regarded).
Experience in delivering testing services within a government or large enterprise setting.
Strong understanding of Agile SCRUM and Waterfall delivery frameworks.
