About the role

We are seeking a Service Delivery Coordinator to join a government department in Brisbane CBD. This is a contract opportunity commencing 27 October 2025 through to 23 October 2026, with a possible 12-month extension at the client’s discretion.

In this role, you will be supporting the Portfolio and Architecture Directorate, which is responsible for ICT portfolio planning and the management of enterprise architecture. The position plays a critical part in ensuring ICT resources are effectively aligned to deliver business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage incoming service requests and monitor service queues.
• Schedule and meet with customers to support service initiation and provide ongoing updates.
• Oversee the review and release of weekly reports.
• Monitor architecture processes for timely delivery, escalating out-of-tolerance issues as required.
• Maintain accurate records of requests, reports and other relevant documentation.
• Manage cost recovery agreements and initiate non-Alloc8 recovery.
• Provide recommendations for vendor contract renewals and updates.
• Deliver standard escalations and ensure visibility of service end dates to consumers.
• Monitor and report on resource usage and demand across Solution Architecture and Enterprise Architecture service lines.
• Recommend and implement agreed service management improvements.
   

Highly desirable criteria

• Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills with proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, ICT operators and service providers.
• Experience in managing and allocating workloads, with a track record of identifying and implementing service management improvements.
• Knowledge and practical understanding of Architectural Lifecycle and PRINCE2 project management methodologies.
   

Desirable criteria

• Prior experience working in a government or large, complex ICT environment.
• Familiarity with ICT portfolio and architecture service lines.
• Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
   

Skills and experience

• Demonstrated experience in service delivery coordination or a similar role.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and escalate issues appropriately.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Availability to commence on the requested start date.
