About the role
We are seeking an experienced Squiz Content Coordinator to support the ongoing enhancement and maintenance of a large government website. In this role, you will be responsible for updating web content, configuring Squiz DXP components, and supporting the delivery of a customer-focused digital experience.
Working within a collaborative digital and communications environment, you will ensure content is accurate, accessible, well-structured, and aligned with established governance, branding, and user experience standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Upload, edit, format and publish web content using Squiz DXP.
- Configure and maintain DXP components including forms, menus, redirects and search functionality.
- Execute high-volume content population activities using supplied copy, imagery, documents and digital assets.
- Apply correct tagging, metadata, taxonomy and categorisation to ensure content is structured and searchable.
- Ensure content accuracy, consistency, accessibility compliance and adherence to style guides and branding standards.
- Conduct quality assurance activities including link validation, content verification and publishing checks.
- Work closely with digital, UX, communications and project teams to meet delivery schedules.
- Liaise with content owners and stakeholders to resolve content-related issues and support publishing activities.
Highly Desirable Criteria
- Proven experience working as a Squiz DXP Content Author, Content Editor or Content Coordinator.
- Strong hands-on experience uploading, editing and publishing content within Squiz DXP.
- High-level knowledge of configuring forms, menus, redirects and search functionality within Squiz DXP.
- Experience supporting large-scale website projects involving high-volume content migration or content population.
- Strong understanding of metadata, taxonomy, information architecture and structured content principles.
- Demonstrated experience applying accessibility requirements and web content best practices.
- Knowledge of the Queensland Government Web Writing and Style Guide.
Desirable Criteria
- Experience working within government or highly regulated environments.
- Experience collaborating with digital, communications, UX and project delivery teams.
- Understanding of content governance frameworks and website quality assurance processes.
- Experience managing competing priorities and delivering outcomes within tight timeframes.
Skills and Experience
- High-level knowledge and practical experience using Squiz DXP.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on content quality and accuracy.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining governance standards.
- Strong written communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience applying accessibility standards, metadata and content categorisation principles.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
