About the Role

Our Federal Government client is looking for a System Analyst, that will play a key role in designing, developing, and supporting innovative business solutions within a DevOps framework using Agile methodologies. Collaborating as part of a motivated and cohesive team, you will translate business needs into detailed technical specifications that enable the delivery of efficient, high-quality solutions. This position involves close interaction with architects, developers, UX design leads, product owners, and vendor partners to ensure business and technical requirements are understood, refined, and successfully delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and refine user stories, requirements, and Requirements Traceability Matrices.
• Conduct pre-analysis of requirements to provide actionable insights, ensuring feasibility and alignment with business goals.
• Translate user stories and requirements into highly detailed technical specifications, particularly for data warehouse and cloud-based solutions.
• Develop and update digital workflows, sequence diagrams, and API call flows.
• Actively participate in Agile project teams, demonstrating a strong understanding of Agile Ways of Working.
• Collaborate effectively with stakeholders, including architects, UX leads, product owners, and technical teams, to define and deliver business solutions.
• Capture test data requirements to support unit and in-sprint quality assurance testing.
• Work within the DevOps framework to maintain and support deployed solutions, ensuring continuous improvement and operational responsibility.

Essential Criteria

• Minimum 3 years’ related experience.
• Ability to document highly detailed technical specifications from requirements.
• Functional understanding of Front ends, API patterns, REST.
• Good understanding and working with Cloud platforms and environments.
• Thorough understanding of the principles of concrete quality control
• High ability to forge strong working relationships at all levels of an organization
• Strong communication skills as well as the ability to articulate organizational and business objectives

Desirable Criteria

• Highly desirable: Preferably 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Highly desirable: Experience with identifying API from business processes design, understanding of the different integration patterns.
• Highly desirable: Working with cloud-based data and analytics platforms implementation.
• Experience in creating, working with and manipulating JSON documents.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with clients in a professional manner.
• Demonstrated understanding of Agile Ways of Working (SAFe, Scrum, or DevOps) and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
• A positive attitude, with a strong focus on problem-solving and delivering results.
