We are seeking an experienced Systems Analyst (Service Configuration Analyst) to support the uplift and ongoing development of a large-scale Configuration Management Database (CMDB) within a complex ICT environment. The role will work closely with internal teams and external providers to ensure accuracy, quality, and consistency of configuration data that underpins critical service management functions.
• Maintain and enhance the CMDB, ensuring data quality and accuracy across automated and manual sources.
• Collaborate with CI owners and service providers to manage discoverable and non-discoverable attributes.
• Monitor and resolve data issues including duplicate, stale, or orphaned CIs, in line with governance processes.
• Identify and drive improvements to configuration management practices, processes, and toolsets.
• Act as a conduit between delivery and operations, supporting alignment of business and technology needs.
• Build and sustain effective relationships with stakeholders to enable shared outcomes.
• ITIL certification with minimum 5 years’ experience in configuration management within medium to large ICT environments.
• Proven expertise working with ServiceNow and other recognised industry toolsets and frameworks.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage across both business and technology teams.
• Solid understanding of IT governance, risk, compliance, and service management practices.
• Demonstrated ability to implement new processes and procedures that improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Ability to influence and present effectively to executive stakeholders.
• Strong commitment to continuous learning and process improvement.
• Experience with governance, risk, and compliance systems and tools.
