Overview

Our large commercial client is seeking a highly skilled Brisbane-based Technical Business Analyst for a 6-month contract position, with the potential view for extension. This role will provide an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering both functional and technical requirements, with a focus on web services, SharePoint, and content management systems (CMS). This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyse functional and technical requirements from stakeholders.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure clear understanding of project goals and objectives.
• Define, document, and communicate technical specifications for web services, SharePoint, and CMS integrations.
• Ensure that all solutions align with business needs and technical constraints.
• Support the team in testing and validating new features and functionalities.
• Assist in the development and optimisation of business processes.
• Provide guidance and expertise on technical solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project progress and adjust timelines and priorities as necessary.
• Engage with stakeholders to ensure project goals are met and expectations are managed.

Skills

• Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst with a focus on both functional and technical requirements gathering.
• Strong knowledge of web services, SharePoint, and CMS.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of software development methodologies.
• Previous experience working in the education sector is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities effectively.
