Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead to drive the evaluation, design, and delivery of an upgraded online enrolment solution. This role involves assessing the suitability of a preferred SaaS product through a Proof-of-Concept and exploring the feasibility of an in-house solution using Power Apps. The successful candidate will oversee the implementation of the chosen solution, ensuring it meets enterprise-level requirements while improving accessibility, security, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the preferred SaaS product against an in-house Power Apps solution by leading a Proof-of-Concept process.
• Provide technical advice on interpreting business requirements and recommend build-vs-buy options.
• Develop high-level solution designs and cost estimates for a Power Apps-based solution.
• Participate in workshops with third-party vendors to assess technical feasibility.
• Document technical requirements aligned with the target solution architecture.
• Collaborate with the project manager to navigate the technical transition from the current system to the new solution, addressing:
  • Data mapping and migration
  • System integration and API design
  • Testing and deployment strategies
  • Decommissioning of legacy components
• Oversee the technical delivery of the selected solution, including the implementation of Azure Blob Storage and integration with payment gateways.
• Coordinate development, testing, and deployment activities with internal teams and third-party providers.
• Ensure QA processes, including unit testing and system integration testing, are robust and comprehensive.
• Establish frameworks to monitor vendor adherence to SLAs.
• Foster collaboration across technical teams in a large hybrid enterprise environment.

Skills

• Proven expertise in SaaS product integration and deployment within an Azure environment.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Blob Storage setup and management.
• Technical design, estimation, and development experience in Power Apps.
• Familiarity with enterprise CRM/CMS systems, including configuration, data migration, and downstream integration.
• Proficiency in API design, build, testing, and deployment.
• Strong knowledge of Australian data security standards.
• Experience with Single Sign-On (SSO) and access management.
• Payment gateway setup and integration expertise.
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team.
• Experience in developing frameworks for vendor management and SLA monitoring.
