Overview

Our commercial client is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager for an initial 12-month contract to oversee multiple projects within a large-scale digital transformation program. This role is pivotal in enhancing their technology stack, digital infrastructure, and governance processes. Reporting directly to a Program Stream Lead, you will lead cross-functional teams and drive projects to successful outcomes, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage multiple project teams to ensure successful delivery of projects. Provide guidance, support, and performance evaluations to team members, fostering a high-performing project environment.
• Oversee the execution of multiple projects, ensuring they align with program objectives and timelines. Coordinate tasks across diverse teams, track project progress, and ensure effective integration of all project components.
• Engage with IT and business stakeholders, facilitating clear communication and collaboration to achieve project goals. Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with project deliverables.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure successful project delivery. Establish governance frameworks and compliance processes to maintain program standards and best practices.
• Provide comprehensive updates and reports on project progress, risks, and outcomes to the Program Stream Lead/Senior PM. Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all project activities and deliverables.

Skills

• Minimum of 10 years in project and program management, with a focus on IT and digital transformation projects.
• Demonstrated experience managing data migration projects.
• Proven experience in managing large-scale IT programs and leading change management initiatives.
• Strong technical acumen with experience across data platforms, cybersecurity, modern web technologies, and enterprise applications.
• Knowledge of data archiving processes (highly desirable).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello).
• Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, and adaptability.
